Thanks you… My GG granparents were Joseph’s brother and sister in law, Robert and Sarah Jane Armstrong Donaldson. I also have a digital copy of birth record-marriage records of the Donaldson-Scott children and Robert’s children.

Far too many Donaldsons… and too common a name! I am looking for a poet, Elizabeth Donaldson, who lived at 529 Hillsdale Ave E, in Toronto, in the 1930s and 40s. The address didn’t exist in 1921, and I know she lived there in 1945. What I really need to know is what her full name was and how she was linked to this family (because I know she was: family members have found some of her poems in their possession and are looking to identify her–exactly–too). Anyone know anything more?
